Raimo Siipo founded the company in the early 1990s, starting out as a sole entrepreneur building machines in his own garage. His first customers were industrial wood processing companies looking to automate labor-intensive processes and improve existing machines. Since then, Siipotec has helped its customers eliminate production bottlenecks, improve process reliability, and increase overall production efficiency.

Company founder Raimo Siipo recalls the early days;
— One customer led to another. That customer worked as a subcontractor for a larger company, which in turn became a major client for many years.
Siipotec´s growth has been built on high-quality work, curiosity, and innovative problem-solving. As a result, we have established long-term partnerships with numerous industrial customers.
— We solve our customers´production challenges in a way that ensures the investment is sound, long-term, and truly beneficial for production. When a customer is satisfied and shares their experience, it often leads to new business.
Over 30 Years of Problem Solving
Siipotec operated under its original business ID from 1995 until 2022, when the company was demerged into two separate companies: one engaging in business activities and the other owning real estates. Over decades of hands-on experience, Siipotec has built a level of expertise that can only be gained through long-term practical work in industrial environments.

For example, we have integrated 3D printing into our production, enabling us to manufacture components for our machines quickly and cost-effectively.
